l\u2019histoire de Cavalaire va s\u2019\u00e9crire avec l\u2019ouverture de la Maison de la Nature. Projet d\u2019envergure m\u00ealant \u00e9cologie, d\u00e9veloppement durable et tourisme attendu avec impatience aussi bien par les cavalairois, les r\u00e9sidents que les vacanciers ; cette ouverture est l\u2019aboutissement d\u2019un projet port\u00e9 par Monsieur le Maire, Philippe Leonelli et son \u00e9quipe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aujourd\u2019hui, \u00e0 moins d&rsquo;un mois de son ouverture officielle, l\u2019\u00e9quipe de Cavalaire revient pour vous sur l\u2019histoire de ce grand chantier et ce qui vous attend \u00e0 compter du 23 juin prochain, date de l\u2019ouverture du b\u00e2timent au public.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Un peu d\u2019histoire <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>C\u2019est en 2005 que commence v\u00e9ritablement l\u2019histoire de la Maison de la Nature. En effet, cette ann\u00e9e-l\u00e0, la commune de Cavalaire fait l\u2019acquisition d\u2019une ancienne usine de traitement des ordures m\u00e9nag\u00e8res. Port\u00e9 par sa volont\u00e9 de d\u00e9velopper un \u00ab\u00a0tourisme vert\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 l\u2019ann\u00e9e, le site a par la suite \u00e9t\u00e9 choisipar Monsieur le Maire afin d\u2019en faire un lieu incontournable d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la nature.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>R\u00e9nover plut\u00f4t que d\u00e9truire<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Transformer l\u2019usine en un lieu d\u2019accueil chaleureux et innovant consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 la nature et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cologie, c\u2019est l\u2019id\u00e9e audacieuse du projet Maison de la nature. Et afin d\u2019\u00e9crire la nouvelle histoire de ce b\u00e2timent, notre histoire, c\u2019est le groupe OH\u00a0!SOM architectes qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisi pour accompagner la ville. Laur\u00e9ats de nombreux prix d\u2019architecture, cette \u00e9quipe jeune et dynamique milite pour une architecture adapt\u00e9e, \u00e9volutive et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9coute de son \u00e9poque et de ses usages. C\u2019est dans cet esprit que la r\u00e9novation et la transformation de la Maison de la nature a d\u00e9marr\u00e9 en septembre 2022. D\u2019une grande modernit\u00e9, le b\u00e2timent r\u00e9pond dans sa construction a la volont\u00e9 municipale d\u2019un b\u00e2timent \u00e9nergiquement exemplaire. On y retrouve une conception avec des mat\u00e9riaux biosourc\u00e9s ce qui lui a valu l\u2019obtention \u00e0 deux reprises du label BDM (b\u00e2timents durables m\u00e9diterran\u00e9ens) \u00e9chelon or.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>La Maison de la nature comme porte d\u2019entr\u00e9e <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>La Maison de la nature d\u00e8s sa mise en projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 pens\u00e9e comme une porte d\u2019entr\u00e9e. Etape du parcours \u00ab\u00a0Voie verte\u00a0\u00bb elle offre aux visiteurs un large choix de balades et de randonn\u00e9es permettant de d\u00e9couvrir un aspect culturel et historique souvent m\u00e9connu.
